TIME TRIAL DETAILS

Our club Time Trial League runs each May for 5 weeks and will be back in 2019. The route is aimed at cyclists of all abilities from beginner to elite. There is no special equipment needed, just a road bike and helmet. Cyclists will start a couple of minutes apart and aim to do the best time they can around the 20KM route. All are welcome, come and try it out, it's a great way to meet other club members and have some fun. We let the fast people off last. 

REGISTRATION

Club Time Trials start Tuesday 7th of May 2019 at Pickardstown Garage on the Tramore Rd. Registration starts at 6.45pm and please bring your 2018 T.I Licence or 2018 Cycling Ireland Licence as this is required when you sign in. A minimum T.I. training license is required.

On your first night please be there early to collect your bib number (6.45pm for everybody). This number will be used for each of the time trials and you will be required to wear the same number each night (similar to Winter League). First rider will be off at 7pm.

 

THE ROUTE

The route for this year's Time Trial starts and finishes on the main Waterford to Tramore road just outside Tramore in Pickardstown. The route goes straight in the Tramore road, taking a left at the Outer Ring Road and following the Ring Road across to the Cork Road. Left again at the Cork Road and straight out the Cork Road turning left again at the turn off for Tramore by the Orchardstown Garden Centre, stay on this road all the way to Tramore, taking a left at the two small roundabouts at Tramore brings you back to the start.
